April 2006 saw CSCI’s report ‘Inspecting for Better Lives” published announcing that adult care providers would be required to operate an Annual Quality Assurance Assessment (AQAA) system across all areas of their operation.
The final details have now been released from CSCI and as from April 2007 it is now a legal requirement that all registered adult care providers complete an AQAA and it will be the main way to let CSCI know how well a service is delivering good outcomes. |
